Self-guided Walking Tour
What do they have in common? A vaudeville, film and Broadway actress; an abolitionist; a suffragist; a 37-year president of Mt. Holyoke; Wilton’s first female elected official; a beloved educator; a community activist; and an internationally known journalist – each was interesting and inspirational – and lived in Wilton! These eight special women, whose lives span 1793 – 2003, are being recognized as we celebrate Women’s History Month. Please use this brochure and map for a self-guided walking tour of their final resting places at Hillside. For more information please email Pam at pam@wiltoncongregational.org.
